Just a big thank you to you Barb for creating this site. I also thanked Erin for creating the FB page. One minute on the Worlds largest Bahai Facebook site or whatever it's called and my blood started boiling. The thread on homosexuality on there confirms why I don't want to be active in the Bahai community.
And my thanks to all of you - to everyone who has submitted a story, or comment, or shared an interesting link, or who just drops by to visit the site - for rising up to meet me when I stepped off that cliff into thin air nearly two and a half years ago - that's what it felt like then. And still does, at times.
I will be making a few comments before long on "my page" - just to bring you up to date a bit, and share a reflection or two - nothing major. We've had a chance to catch our breath here, and I want to take advantage of that opportunity.
And thank God for Erin's creation of the FB page - what a great blessing that is. May it live long.
I remember when Barb declared this space open, and a few of us posted and waited, and waited.. and well waited... now it reminds me of the film Its a Wonderful Life... when everyone suddenly shows up...
Thank you so much Barb for building this space... where people come and go, where people can express themselves freely, where people find others like them, where others begin to heal their anger.
